Al Furat Petroleum Company (AFPC) has set down in the Statement of General Business Principles dated 30 December 2002 the general business principles that govern how AFPC conducts its affairs. AFPC is the largest producer of oil and gas in Syria and as such is a major contributor to the national economy and enjoys the reputation as one of the premier companies in Syria. Upholding that reputation is paramount.
AFPC has as its core values honesty, integrity and respect for people. AFPC also firmly believes in the fundamental importance of the promotion of trust, openness, teamwork and professionalism and pride in what it does. These values determine our principles which apply to all transactions, large and small, and describe the behaviour expected of every employee in AFPC in the conduct of its business. AFPC seeks to promote the application of these principles in the relationship with AFPC’s business partners, contractors and suppliers.
